Refund Policy
KURODENIM.COM Returns & Exchange Policy (International)

Thank you for shopping at KURODENIM.COM. Our return and exchange policy is defined based on international regulations and fair trade practices.
1. Returns Due to Customer Preference (Regions Outside EU & UK)
Returns for the following reasons are not accepted:
- Incorrect size
- Difference in color or texture from expectation
- Incorrect order by customer
- Sale or discounted items
- Gifts or orders shipped to third parties
Delays may occur due to natural disasters or other force majeure events.
2. EU & UK Returns (Within 14 Days of Delivery)
- Return requests must be initiated within 14 days of receiving the product.
- Return shipping cost is the customer's responsibility.
- Items that are worn, damaged, altered, or missing tags cannot be returned.
- If the return causes the order to fall below the free-shipping threshold, the original shipping cost will be deducted.
- Shipping without prior approval is prohibited. Any loss or damage will be the customer's responsibility.
- Customs duties applied upon arrival in Japan are the customer's responsibility.
- Use of any shipping label other than the one we provide is also the customer's responsibility.
- Return approval is usually issued within 5 business days (may delay due to force majeure).
- Refund covers product price only (duties, taxes, fees, and shipping charges are excluded).
3. Defective or Incorrect Items (All Regions)

- Photos of the defective area
- Full product photo including tags and accessories
Shipping Rules
- Pre-approval is required for all returns and exchanges.
- Shipping without approval is prohibited. Any loss or damage will be the customer's responsibility.
- Using a non-designated shipping label will also make all costs the customer's responsibility.
Cost Responsibility
For defective or incorrectly shipped items, we will cover:
- Product price
- Return shipping cost
- Reshipment cost for exchange
Duties, taxes, and handling fees are not refundable.
4. Size Exchange (Optional Service – Contact Within 7 Days of Arrival)
- If the size does not fit, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the product to request a one-time size exchange for the same product.
- Pre-approval is required before shipping.
- Shipping without approval is prohibited. All risks of loss or damage are the customer's responsibility.
- Return shipping, reshipment costs, duties, taxes, and handling fees are the customer's responsibility.
- If the return causes the order to fall below the free-shipping threshold, the original shipping cost will be deducted.
- Customs duties upon arrival in Japan are the customer's responsibility.
- Use of non-designated shipping labels is the customer's responsibility.
- Approval is usually issued within 5 business days (may be delayed due to force majeure).
- If the requested size is out of stock, only the product price will be refunded.
5. Return Shipping & Arrival Deadlines
- Ship the return within 7 days after approval.
- Items must arrive within 30 days from the original purchase date.
- Exceptions may be made with proof of shipment if delayed by customs.
- Unapproved returns will not be accepted.
- Delays due to force majeure may occur.
6. Customs, Duties & Shipping Fees
- Orders are shipped via DHL DDU/DAP (duties & taxes not included).
- Customs duties, import taxes, and handling fees are the customer's responsibility.
- If delivery is refused or duties are unpaid, return shipping, DHL fees, and duties will be deducted from the refund.
- Refunds apply to product price only.
7. Refunds
- Refunds are issued using the same payment method used at purchase.
- Refunds cover product price only (shipping, duties, handling fees excluded).
- Processing may take several days to several weeks (may be delayed due to force majeure).
8. Processing Time for Refunds & Exchanges
- Processing is completed within 7 business days after product arrival and inspection (may be delayed due to force majeure).
